CONSULTATION AND STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR
WOMEN WITH DISABILITY LEADERS

Women with Disability leaders from 15 regions of the Philippines attended the Consultation and Strategic Planning Workshop last March 13-16 2008 at the Richville Hotel which aims to formulate strategies in organizing the national federation of women with disabilities to serve as the voice and support the initiatives of WWD leaders in their initiatives at the local level.



Vision Mision and Goals of WOW LEAP were also revisited. Key Strategic Areas were established and strategic plans were formulated. The activity was in partnership with the Canadian Cooperative Agency through the National Federation of Cooperatives of PErsons with Disabilities

HOME BASED EMPLOYMENT PROMOTION

WOWLEAP produces liquid dishwashing soap,powder detergent and fabric softener as a means to augment income of some members. WOWLEAP hopes to expand this business and teach women with disabilities with skills for them to start home based business with the help of their family members.
